Robert Elfer
Robert Elfer, NCARB, is a partner at studio TROIKA, a design practice based in Boston, New York, and London. He possesses bachelor’s degrees in architecture and management information systems, and has practiced architecture since 1992—most notably in Boston with Moshe Safdie and in Paris with Rem Koolhaas and Francis Soler. He has led ARE seminars since 1999, and currently teaches at the Boston Architectural Center. Robert also led ARE Building Technology reviews at the American Institute of Architect’s national conventions in 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009, as well as an AIA New Orleans hosted seminar in 2011.

Bob Wise
Bob J. Wise Jr., AIA, of Wise Architecture in San Antonio, has led ARE review seminars for the San Antonio chapter of the American Institute of Architects for several years. He is a former member of NCARB’s exam writing and scoring committees. Bob is also senior lecturer in the School of Architecture at the University of Texas at San Antonio. He led ARE review sessions for the Site Planning division at the 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 AIA national conventions. Bob also led the ARE review session for the Building Systems division in 2011 at an AIA New Orleans hosted seminar that coincided with the 2011 AIA National Convention.
